Katsuragawa hails 'greatest moment' with South Korea win
Japan's Yuto Katsuragawa won the DP World Tour's Genesis Championship in South Korea by two strokes on Sunday and said it was "the greatest moment" of his life.
Overnight leader Katsuragawa held his nerve to claim his second title on the tour ahead of French pair Frederic Lacroix and Martin Couvra at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club.
Katsuragawa matched the course record of 63 in Saturday's third round and his final-day even-par 71 was enough to secure the trophy.
It was his first title since 2024.
"After the first win I had such a hard time, struggling with that time," said the 28-year-old.
"But having the second win, this is definitely the greatest moment of my life."
Katsuragawa held a two-shot lead going into the final round and had a steady day, carding one birdie and one bogey.
The win secured his tour card for next year and earned him a place at the season-ending playoffs in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
"I had a good image from the first victory, I just kept that good feeling about it and I came for the second win," he said.
"I'm very happy because to play on the DP World Tour is something I need in my life and I am very happy to play in Dubai."
Open champion Ryan Fox finished three shots off the lead after a final-day one-under-par 70.
